All roofed well - The skyliner by contour lets mobile roofing become an event
The technicians of Overath-based contour now prove that roofings for events can be more than just a simple sun or rain protection.
They have developed a mobile event location, the skyliner, that is second to none.
Besides the normal protection functions of a mobile roof, the skyliner offers most different options for use as advertising medium and projection area. On top of that it becomes a unique lighting object by use of cunning lighting systems.
In the largest version the skyliner provides more than 750 m² canopied area and is applicable in any weather and every season, for example by fitting a transparent exterior shell and heating.
Due to its aesthetics and functionality this extremely mobile and rain-proof roofing becomes the visual center of attention for every event.
The skyliner's versatility was proved by contour during the past year in very different locations. It was used for example on the occasion of the ascension party of the soccer club FC Freiburg in order to provide a dry space for as many fans as possible. In the pre-Christmas period 2009 it provided the base for the 18-meter-high Rocher - Christmas tree, which was set up in four german cities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Ferrero Rocher.
Precondition for the multifunctional versatility of the skyliner is its cunning technology. contour offers different sizes from 10 to 32 meters in diameter, thus creating canopied areas 78 m² to 750 m². The roof heights are variable between 5 and maximal 12 meters. Characteristically, even the highest wind loads do not mean any use restrictions whatsoever. Securing is ensured by steel pegs or dead freight, depending on ground situations.
The skyliner's payloads provide maximal versatility too. The ring can be loaded with 30 to 40 kg/m, the bridge in its center with 250 to 350 kg.
Optionally, contour offers almost any variation in design or construction to their customers.
For example the towers can be covered with printed net-vinyl, the customer's branding or effective withe cloth.
Also the basements can be stylishly designed.
Of course the skyliner is available in closed or semi-closed versions, with all possible ways of designing the outer skin.
In case of locations with uneven ground, a variable straight floor can be provided, with any kind of top layer. Thus any covering of the floor is possible, from parquet to carpet.
For contour as an experienced provider of professional event gear, the development of the skyliner was almost mandatory. It completes the spectrum of performance of the Overath-based company, enabling them to offer technically complete packages which are perfectly matched to the customer's needs.
