contour licht & audio Veranstaltungsservice GmbH has decided on a DiGiCo D1 live during the expansion of their range of rental equipment. During the 3rd week of April, the console was shipped to Overath by the german distributor atlantic audio. The D1 live will play a leading role during the 37th International Whitsun Festival of Improvised Music in Moers, the Moers Festival, as well as during the festival season 2008.

Ralf Wolters, technical director with contour, is looking forward to the training days with the atlantic audio team: „The DiGiCo D1 blends in perfectly into contour's rental portfolio. Our demands on a digital mixing console are staked high. We want a desk that 'plays in major league', to integrate it appropriately to our hiring equipment. The console must be flexible to use and suitable for most different productions and applications. This goes along with a high reliability and best audio features.
