BoE-fair gives wings to the skyliner - great feedback for contour's product range

With their new product range skyliner, the company contour from Overath sets a benchmark for mobile roofings of events. The skyliner, with up to 750m² and 12 meters height, offers the most variable possible uses as an event location, advertising medium and projection screen, as well as the normal protection functions of a mobile roof. It's aesthetics, functionality and mobility make it a visual experience. The creative freedom is unlimited, and this works in any weather and for any occasion.

"We were positively surprised by the great feedback, the many requests and the interested audience at the 'Best of Events' in Dortmund.", reports Felix Lenz, general manager of contour.

An estimation being shared by the advertising companies Christ Kommunikation and X-Cite, who have accompanied the launch of the skyliner. "It is not really common to generate such high contact numbers at a technical launch right from the start. That probably is because of the good mixture of exhibitors and visitors at the Best of Events.", says Georg Funck from X-Cite. "It is just wonderful to be able to talk to decision makers and organizers from culture, event, marketing and industry as exhibitors and visitors of the fair likewise in a relaxed environment."

A great advantage, which contour would like to use at the next BoE again for their productrange skyliner.

Due to the great feedback and the good market, even beyond Germany, the product range skyliner is going to be added to with new shapes and materials.

First prototypes already run through the necessary technical tests and approval routines and according to contour will supplement the product diversity and the applicability of the skyliner.

"That's not a coincidence but planning of many years.", says Felix Lenz. "The basic requirement for the multifunctional applicability of the skyliner products is a sophisticated technology."

contour offers the current version in various sizes from 10 to 32 meters in diameter, thus creating roofed areas from 78m² up to 750m². The roof height can vary from 5 to 12 meters. A special feature is the fact that even highest wind loads mean no restrictions for use whatsoever.

The load capacities also provide maximum versatility. The ring can be loaded with 30 bis 40 kg/m (e.g. with sound and light equipment), the bridge in it's center holds 250 bis 350 kg. Of course the skyliner is also available in closed or part-closed variations, with all possible ways of designing the outer skin.
