On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Ferrero Rocher the world brand started their Germany-tour on the first advent weekend 2009 in Frankfurt and continued it in Leipzig, Hannover and Berlin. The praline-specialist initiated a high-class tasting and celebrated their "golden moments" with numerous visitors in a unique event location. Adding to that, a colourful side program was provided, including dutch singer Cynthia Tokaya and the performance artists "Windriders".
Ordered by, and working hand in hand with, the Frankfurt-based agency X-Cite GmbH, contour constructed an 18m high pyramid for Rocher, consisting of a 10m skyliner special construction with an additional center tower, to which a 1.2km long, gold-wrapped chain of lights with over 12,000 tungsten-LED-lights was connected, which made the Rocher-pyramid shine solemnly in the pre-Christmas period. The complete interior of the heated event location was produced specially for this great event, including round counter, seat benches and plexiglass-elements. For the presentation of Rocher's creative competition and to show the Rocher-advertisements, contour installed high-grade plasma monitors. By means of Meyer Sound MM4-XP miniature-high performance speakers contour also installed an unobstrusive and well-sounding p.a.-system for the interior. For the performance of the artists from "Windriders" the contour team produced an impressive atmosphere on the performing area by means of cunning lighting gear.
The special construction, being constructed by Felix Lenz in two months of intensive development work, definitely is one of the project highlights of the contour-productions in 2009 and has been rightfully called an impressive work of art by many spectators.
