In 1954, the Bayer AG introduced a novel polyacrylic fiber, which they called 'dralon®'. This hightech material was to become a bsetseller soon and ever since held it's ground, meanwhile for over half a century.
This year now, the Dralon GmbH celebrates it's 10th anniversary of autonomy, while their subsidiary in Lingen looks back on 40 years of fiber production. Two good reasons for a celebration ceremony.
The dralon GmbH settled for the convincing concept of the DMI (Deutsches Modeinstitut) and thus celebrated this big event with 200 international guests on a unique and exclusive location directly in front of the company's premises in the corporate parking lot. The contour GmbH acted as general contractor by order of the DMI and created the complete infrastructure for this event. Especially for this event, a closed twin 21 meter skyliner was constructed, 650qm of flooring were installed and the location was then equipped with finest sound, light and video gear. In addition, the supply of electrical power and water, errection of tents, heating, mobile toilets, entrance control, decoration and translator equipment had to be and were coordinated.
