For the ninth time, the biggest european literature festival lit.COLOGNE took place in Cologne, for which, as in the years before, contour provided finest and unobstrusive sound gear for speech transmission as well as lighting gear. In several of Cologne's locations, including the Rhine ship "MS Rheinenergie", the "Bel Etage" at Cologne's chocolate museum, the police headquarters, the premises of the "Kölner Kunstverein" (Cologne Art Society) and the "Institut Francais", german and international authors held readings of their works between March 12th and 21st, 2009. The task for contour was clear right from the beginning: Finest speech audibility, discreet sound gear, as well as dazzle-free lighting of the pedestals were the goal, which was fulfilled as perfectly as every year. Martin Pohl, the production's technical director, explains: "The lit.COLOGNE works together with contour successfully in all locations without own technical gear since 2002. For me as technical director, the reliability and flexibility, the cautious interaction with the authors and artists and of course the outstanding result mean a great relief."
