For the World-Celiac Disease-Day 2009 the promoters held the big meeting at Dortmund. The Friedensplatz was the central meeting point after a demonstration with all participants through the city. The major event's task was to call the populace's attention to this disease and to increase the understanding for the supply with adequate gluten-free food for the suffering people.
For contour, this meant to create a full service package, which in addition to the classic crafts of event gear - sounding, lighting, stage-, video- and camera gear - included the complete furnishing, tents and a LED-screen. To secure the feasibility even in bad or very sunny weather, the contour-designed "magic polygon" in the 21 meter-diameter version, which by means of branding became the eye-catcher in the center of the event. Being immediately visible from all entrances to the 10.000m²-Friedenplatz, this custom roof attracted the people directly to the event.
Due to the thorough project management by event expert Stefan Kevenhörster, the connection to customer, the city-council of Dortmund and the additional crafts was frictionless. Fullest attention to the event's objectives, with a stress-free implementation, was guaranteed.
