The "Genossenschaftsverband der Volks- und Raiffeisenbanken" bade farewell their retiring chairman Walter Weinkauf with a minutely planned and moving show during their christmas party this year. Almost 800 cooperative members congregated in Kassels "Stadthalle" to thank the leaving Weinkauf for his nearly 40 years of service in the cooperative. Udo van Kampen hosted the show, leading through the program, while the internationally reknowned youth choir "Scala & Kolacny Brothers" from Belgium created emotional moments with new interpretations of "With or without you" or "Hungriges Herz".

Kassels "Kongess Palais Kassel Stadthalle" was selected as the event's location, being one of the most beautiful historical congress centers in Europe.

The foyer area was stylishly illuminated with over 100 floor lamps, while the grand halls' white decorated stage was tastefully illuminated using conventional lamps and Varilite VL 3000.
