To the festival premiere of "Classic au Lac", contour as a Meyer Sound specialist was ordered by staging specialist "HVT" from Waldshut-Tiengen as a general contractor for this production and their partner "Coco Sound" from Freiburg to bring a M'elodie line array system including Galileo system control to the Lake Zürich. The "Coco Sound" sound engineers Elen Muschall and "Hage" Romberg, known for their affection to music and sounding, are just the right people when the task is to develop a new sound concept. Detailled and above-average knowledge in the musical and technical fields of audio engineering, as well as an always open mind for customers and artists characterizes the two in their work. So it came natural that a top-of-the-line sound system as well as numerous Neumann large diaphragm-microphones delivered by contour had to come to pass in order to sound the 50m long and 30m wide place in Richterswil on the Horn in the best quality possible.
Three days "Classic au Lac" 2009 were one stormy, one cool and one sunny day. Equally mixed was the music program at Lake Zürich, as the promoters staged a broad variety of classical orchestras from Switzerland.
Though they would have liked to have more audience even in this first year, but the enthusiasm of those who actually were there will multiply and cause a "full house" in the next year.
In this exclusive location and with such professional technical realization, the way has been paved to a continuing successful festival "Classic au Lac".
