The "Summerstage" celebrated it's 10th birthday on August 23rd, 2009 at the "Tanzbrunnen" in Cologne. According to the motto "Big up Germany!" the focus for this year's "WDR Funkhaus Europa"-festival was put on regional artists and newcomers in the world wide music scene. Many musical highlights, including Patrice, Shantel and Paco Mendoza, were on the schedule and were provided by contour with finest technical conditions on a bright sunny day. The big audience danced and celebrated frolicsomely, despite the considerably reduced noise level that was to be complied due to strict regulations.
Congratulations to the 10th anniversary and thank you for having us since the year 2000...
... After the successful event and done work, old friends and colleagues met the production crew and discussed times gone and current events while having a beer, playing some "Kicker" (table soccer) and relaxing. Great to see you guys! ...
