Whoever used the 12th of July, 2009 as a recreational day after a long hard Saturday night, may well have missed one of the best Open Air-parties. On this particular Sunday the mega-party "Blauer See" took place for the 12th time at this beautifully situated natural stage in Ratingen, which opened doors at 10 o'clock for the audience.
The day's headliner, famous Techno-DJ Sven Väth, who this year again had the patronage for this event, as well as exciting sets by Marco Carola, Raresh, Loco Dice, Tobi Neumann, Tobias Becker, Binh and Anthony Rother fired up the audience.
As well as in the past, the big electronic event was specially themed, this year slightly ironical referring to the "good-weather-delegate" St. Peter. "A Quantum Of Sunlight" was what the organizers, the club "Tribehouse" and the "PollerWiesen" maker Patrick Peiki, wished for their celebration-addicted party guests, as they were frequently drained in rain during their parties, though this never affected the party mood. The freak of nature was restrained by the polygon roofing system made by contour in the sizes 18m and 24m. The huge, stilishly illuminated membranes didn't only shelter the audience from sun and rain, but also created a very special impressive ambience.
On the very picturesque location, surrounded by forest, for yet another time an open air spectacular with two floors was created, which both were equipped by contour with finest sound equipment, the Meyer Sound MICA. Furthermore the full service provider, who successfully mastered the logistic tasks of the location, equipped the larger floor with a specially designed Layher pedestal as a V.I.P. area, which provided extensive room for the top-class DJ's and their guests.
