The development of contour's "skyliner" began in 2003 with the idea to optimize the roof skin "Magic Sky" and to make it available to an extended clientele.

Felix Lenz developed a polygonic ground support truss system for the fixing of the roof skin - the "magic polygon" was born.

Today, in 2009, the "skyliner" is the only light-skin roofing in Germany having auditable statics following newest planning laws and an approval including certified statics without wind load restrictions.

Furthermore we have realized many detail solutions and options for the product's improvement, thus matching the needs of the market.

A milestone is the completely new developed roof skin. This gives the "skyliner" an even more elegant appearance and an improved leak tightness.
